About Product Features
What sets “Tea Time with the Wild Herb Man and the Herb Lady” apart is that each blend contains just one type of wild herb and one type of herb.
We’ve reimagined wild plants as men and herbs as women to evoke the romance of a meeting between a man and a woman. As for the tea’s flavor, we calculated the ideal blend ratio by experimenting with the perfect combination of wild plants and herbs time and time again.
Mugwort
A familiar sight in Japanese fields since ancient times. Its aroma, a perfect blend of sweetness and bitterness, evokes a sense of nostalgia and brings a feeling of comfort.
Lemongrass
Native to Southeast Asia, this reliable plant is in high demand for both cooking and everyday use. Its refreshing, lemon-like scent is truly pleasant.
Bear Bamboo
This tenacious plant stays lush and green even in the dead of winter. A true workhorse that has long been used to preserve food, its crisp, nutty aroma is truly reassuring.
Honeybush
Hailing from South Africa, this plant has a remarkable presence—just being around it fills the air with the scent of honey and roses. It always lifts my spirits whenever I see it.
Mulberry Leaves
For many years, these leaves have served as food for silkworms—a humble and unassuming plant. They have a mild flavor and a refreshing, green tea-like aroma that is truly pleasant.
Lavender
True to its reputation as the “Queen of Herbs,” it commands respect wherever it is found. Its scent is crisp yet warm.
How to Enjoy
Place one tea bag in a teacup, pour boiling water over it, and let it steep for about 3 minutes—slightly longer than you would for regular tea—before drinking. After steeping in boiling water, remove the tea bag and let the tea cool; it’s delicious served cold as well. Steeping the tea in cold water or swishing the tea bag around may cause the tea to become bitter.
