Because it is a gift, we have paid particular attention to ease of maintenance.
The blade is made from a three-layer steel, a copper material. The sharp cutting edge is covered with stainless steel, so it achievees both sharpness and rust resistance. Additionally, the handle is made from laminated reinforced wood. This natural wood is highly water-resistant, preventing mold and darkening.
Attention to detail in every aspect.
We use a part called a bolster at the junction between the blade and the handle to eliminate any gaps. This prevents dirt from accumulating at the base of the blade, which tends to get the dirtiest. Additionally, the plain wooden handle showcases the natural beauty of the wood, adding a touch of elegance.
